Dry Transformer and Oil Immersed Transformer Manufacturer
SCB10 Dry type transformer comprises a core made of high-grade silicon steel laminations, windings of copper or aluminum conductors enveloping the core, and an insulation system of epoxy or cast resin for protection. Housed within a protective enclosure, these transformers feature terminals for electrical connections, a cooling system for heat dissipation, and temperature monitoring devices to ensure safe operation. Additional components like bushings, tap changers, and grounding systems are included to enhance efficiency and safety during operation.
Dry type transformer uses air as a cooling medium instead of insulating oil. It is designed with epoxy resin or cast resin to encapsulate the windings, providing insulation and protection. Dry-type transformers are often preferred in indoor installations or locations where the use of oil-filled transformers is not suitable due to safety or environmental reasons. They are known for being more environmentally friendly, requiring less maintenance, and offering a higher level of safety compared to oil-filled transformers.
